Reiki Attunement
Reiki is not taught in the way other healing techniques are taught. The ability to channel Reiki energy is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master during an attunement process. During attunement, the Reiki or spiritual consciousness makes adjustments in the student’s chakras and energy pathways and also in deeper parts of one’s consciousness to accommodate the ability to channel Reiki energy; it then links the student to the Reiki source. These changes are unique for each person. The Reiki Master does not direct the process and is simply a channel for the attunement energy flowing from spiritual consciousness. The Reiki attunement is a powerful spiritual experience and is the most important part of a Reiki class.
Usui Reiki, developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century, is a Japanese healing technique focusing on channeling life force energy to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Practitioners use hand placements to transfer energy, encouraging relaxation and healing.
Holy Fire Reiki, introduced by William Lee Rand, is a more recent evolution that combines traditional Usui Reiki with a refined, powerful energy. By emphasizing purification, empowerment, and guidance, Holy Fire Reiki enhances the healing experience, providing deeper, more profound levels of healing that promotes inner peace and spiritual growth for both practitioners and recipients.
Yes. Private Attunement sessions are available if the class time doesn’t fit into your schedule. We spend about three hours together, you will receive the attunement as well as learning relevant Reiki healing hand positions and symbols. And you can review the class by joining the group training classes in the future. Semi-private Reiki classes are available for two participants for 4 hours of training.

A Reiki Attunement, Placement or Ignition is a process of empowerment that connects you to the unlimited source of Reiki energy. During this process, and for a time after, changes will be made by the experience to enable you to channel Reiki. These changes take place metaphysically in your energy system and also in the physical body. An emotional as well as a physical toxic release can sometimes take place as part of this clearing process.
In order to improve the results you receive during this experience, a process of purification is recommended. This will allow the energies to work more efficiently and create greater benefits for you. The following steps are optional. Follow them if you feel guided to do so.
- Refrain from eating meat (or cut back) for three days prior to the Reiki class. These foods often contain drugs and toxins that make your system sluggish and throw it out of balance
- Minimize your use of coffee and caffeine drinks. They create imbalances in the nervous and endocrine systems
- Avoid caffeine on class days
- Avoid alcohol for at least three days prior to the Reiki class
- Minimize sugar consumption
- Reduce or eliminate time watching TV, listening to the radio and reading news
- Meditate for half an hour each day for at least a week using a style you know or simply spend this time in silence
- Release all anger, fear, jealousy, hate, worry, etc. up to the light. Create a sacred space within and around you

Reiki Level I Training
During the class, you will receive the Reiki I Placement (attunement) and earn a Holy Fire Reiki Level I certification. This training enables you to use Reiki energy for self-healing and healing friends, family, pets, and loved ones. You will learn to channel Reiki energy to yourself and others and learn:
- The Principles of Reiki
- The history of Reiki
- The evolution of Reiki and the introduction of Holy Fire
- How Reiki is used for healing
- Self-healing techniques
- Practice in giving a full Reiki treatment
Group Tuition: $250 (6 hours)
Private Tuition: $350 (3 hours)
$30 extra if you need a copy of the approved 190-page training manual from the ICRT (International Center for Reiki Training) and a Certificate.
Registration is required at least 7 days before the class so you have enough time to read the training manual and prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for the Ignition.
Reiki Level II Training
In this class, you will receive Reiki II Placement and three Reiki symbols, upgrading your Reiki energy from Level I and enabling you to become a Reiki practitioner if desired. This training also allows you to give distant Reiki. Even if you have Usui Reiki II training, this class upgrades your energy to Holy Fire® III Level II. You will learn:
- Gassho meditation
- Byosen Scanning: Using hand sensitivity to locate and treat areas needing healing, usually in the aura
- Reiji-Ho: Using inner guidance for treatment
- Kenyoku: Dry bathing to purify your energy field
- Sending Reiki at a distance
- Reiki II symbols: How to draw, activate, use, and understand their inner meanings. Practice time is provided to experience the energy and effects of each symbol.

Reiki Master Practitioner
(Level III) Training
After completing Level One and Level Two training, Master Level Reiki training takes your practice to new heights. This 6-hour class is open to those who have completed Usui or Holy Fire Reiki Level One and Level Two.
During this session, you will receive the powerful Holy Fire Master Practitioner Placement, enhancing the Reiki energy you can channel and activating the Usui Master symbols for use in Reiki sessions. The Master symbol, used with Reiki, creates a stronger connection between the Physical Self and the Higher Self, allowing more of the unlimited wisdom and power of God to manifest on the physical plane. The class also covers how to “Create a Thriving Reiki Practice,” providing insights and strategies for building a successful Reiki practice.

My Reiki teacher Wiliam Lee Rand has taught Reiki full time in the U.S. and in countries all over the world. In 1989 he developed the Usui/Tibetan style of Reiki, in 1995 he developed Karuna Reiki, and in 2014 he introduced Holy Fire® Reiki to the world. He is the founder and president of the International Center for Reiki Training and The Reiki Membership Association, founder of the Center for Reiki Research and is the publisher of the Reiki News Magazine.
