Qi Flow Class
The Qi-Flow class draws its inspiration from both traditional Qigong and Yoga practices, as well as Lepeng’s personal exploration of dynamic movements designed to harmonize the body with a potent flow of energy. Our journey commences with a sequence of gentle yoga postures, carefully selected to nurture flexibility and bolster physical strength. From there, we transition into an invigorating series of movements that enhance the circulation of Qi, the vital life force energy.
The art of Qigong, integral to our practice, unlocks energy pathways, known as meridians, while guiding participants into a meditative state of mind. It is within this tranquil yet alert state that individuals often find themselves releasing pent-up energies and buried emotions, as well as receiving newfound inspirations.
Qi Flow Trance Dance
The Qi-Flow Trance Dance class offers a communal space for like-minded individuals to share collective energy and elevate their spirits. The class begins with a 30-minute guided dynamic warm-up inspired by traditional Qigong practice. Participants then transition into trance dance, guided by their physical and emotional states.
Trance dance transcends traditional boundaries, merging rhythmic movements with inspiring music. It is a holistic experience that engages the mind, body, and spirit in a synchronized flow. The music guides dancers into a meditative, introspective journey with spontaneous, free-form movements focusing on internal experience, self-discovery, and emotional release. The dance floor becomes a sacred space for connecting with the music, collective vibe, and inner selves, offering stress relief, self-expression, and a pathway to altered states of consciousness.

Qi and Qigong
Qigong is a practice (originated from ancient China) that allows us to experience and utilize a subtle energy called Qi (or Ki in Japanese and Prana in Sanskrit). Qi is a fundamental concept in traditional Chinese medicine and philosophy. It’s often translated as “life force” or “vital energy.” Qi is an invisible and flowing energy that permeates everything in the universe, including your body. It ’s believed to be responsible for all life processes, from physical health to mental and emotional well-being. When Qi is abundant within us, we feel physically strong, emotionally balanced and guided by inner clarity and vision.
Qigong movement is a self-healing method which can be practiced by anyone of any age in any condition of health. The therapeutic value of energy guidance exercise has been recognized in China for thousands of years. Consistent practice of Qigong movement rectifies one’s internal energies so effectively that the indirect result in many cases has been the curing of a wide variety of diseases, ranging from high blood pressure and ulcers to heart disease. Its greatest health significance is its effectiveness in preventing disease by keeping the internal energies in a state of balance.
Moving meditation is an essential aspect of self-cultivation. Such movement includes various exercises which develop the ability to guide one’s internal and external energies. Qigong movement induces the gathering, refinement and circulation of one’s energy into more subtle channels. Such moving meditation integrates the body, mind and spirit, harmonizes one’s internal energy with the universal law, and leads one to true health.
